Negative Publicity is Still PublicityIn our generation, the smartest among us have identified the loopholes in publicity. There was a time when the only model of publicity executed was positive publicity—being seen in a positive light and so on.However, with time, it has been identified that bad news sells faster. Nowadays, many people try to ride on negativity to gain publicity, from spreading negative stories about others to engaging in negative actions to attract attention. While it takes time to gain popularity through good deeds, negative behavior spreads like wildfire. Why waste lots of time building a good name when a little bit of misbehavior can get your name out there quickly? But there is one thing we always forget: negative publicity is still publicity, but the end results of each type of publicity follow different paths. Positive publicity can build a lasting reputation and trust, while negative publicity, though it may provide quick fame, often leads to long-term consequences and reputation damage.Ultimately, the choice of which path to follow in seeking publicity is a reflection of one's values and the legacy one wishes to leave behind.

Promoters indulging in political jingoism openly, visibly trying to please the establishment is a clear sign of weakness in a business. Look deeper and you will definitely find something shady - be it compliance issue or fading customer interest.Same for entertainers.Never build your business supported by political favours. The day you need political support to stay afloat, know that it’s start of a journey towards the end.
