Unless you are a high net-worth individual or have a very high FICO score, you are never even offered any help in improving your credit. You're not offered any credit cards. You're not allowed to take out small personal loans to try and rebuild your credit. They don't seem to care, and they have no local control over those decisions, which is another problem because it eliminates relational banking which is why I moved to a FCU that's local to me. That is a much better banking experience for those struggling to improve their credit status.

Only bin with them for 3 months and they have to be the worst. From bad service from tellers to the bank manager to there online app. As soon as I can I will be pulling my out and keeping it at home.

Some employees are so very rude in Dubois. They take your deposit and are so slow as they are joking with coworkers and goofing off while making your transaction! I had 3 deposits, 2 other employees were doing nothing so I asked if they can each do 1 deposit, 1 was pleasant, the girl with the orange hair and dark roots was so angry, she grabbed the bag from me and was all red as she did the work, talking under her breath. I was at an empty window while the supposed manager who was yapping with drivethru coworkers who were not busy either, was doing my other deposit. The orange haired girl came and threw the bag under the plexiglass, I said thank you so much and she just turned and walked away. These people are rude everytime. My coworkers ask me how it went, as they have issues there as well. Our company though has used them for so long, and now are thinking of changing banks. I was informed other people complain about this branch, but the mamager is one of the Unprofessional workers.

I realize now what a mistake it was transferring to this bank. Just terrible. ATM's seldom work, Tellers and managers make endless mistakes. Money availability is an ongoing problem. If you are thinking about using this bank you might want to reconsider what you are doing

A terrible experience. Opened an account because of a generous incentive, which they refused to honor because the account was briefly overdawn - they allowed the overdaft, I didn't ask for it or need it. Charged me a fee for sending me a paper statement which I didn't ask for either and never offered an option to switch to electronic. No email communication. No communication of any kind, in fact. To try and resolve the issues I had to call the branch my account was associated with even though I opened it online and never set foot in it. Most unpleasant and unhelpful group of people. When I said that I wanted to close the account, they told me that I either had to do it in person (nowhere near my house, so not an option) or send them a notarized letter - yet another expense, and what modern financial institution operates this way? Their centralized customer service was helpful, one redeeming feature. They closed the account for me and I did get the check for the remaining account balance, so at least they aren't overtly illegal. Overall a huge waste of time. Stay away.

MOBILE DEPOSIT - You will have a better chance of using a messenger pigeon to make a mobile deposit. i received an email that my deposit was received but i didnt not see the email that is was subsequently rejected. i paid a sleuth of items that were then reject so i called and they told me it was my fault. and only removed 1 of the 3 NSF items. They are a 2nd class bank and their portal shows. i am closing this account.

S&T bank was down starting october 29th until Monday. Now during this time I had a 40 dollar charge against my AT&T account because the normal payment didn’t come out. Ok starts out no big deal, I called the bank they said they would reimburse me. I keep asking every time I stop at the Oregon pike location please have someone contact me, a month goes by nothing! Today I stopped in and asked to have the credit , zero help at all. The manager kept saying their bank was down october 22 and I said wrong it was the 29th. All three or four employees were giving me dirty looks and acting like it was my fault. Horrible experience with this Oregon pike location.

don't open an account here, they put a one-week hold on checks. I got a federal check for backdated un compensation. The bank held the money for one week.

If I could give negative stars I would. I got damaged and defective merchandise from a small business and they refused to do refund. Went to bank and refused as well to open a dispute. Got a fake offline and the person on phone said I had to go into a branch when that's not true. Then refused to again do a dispute. Charged for non-S AND T atm when I wasn't told that they charge 3.00 service fee. And their atm won't accept cash deposits on 4th street so I had to leave the parking lot and go back in to use drive up ( nice if they posted that so u arent going back and forth) and the person on the speaker sounded dead. They are rude on phone and overall I hate this bank.

Probably would have given it four stars maybe even five if they had delivered my bank card any reasonable time which would be 7 to 14 business days. I understand things are going slow with the whole pandemic thing but you chose this job under the circ*mstances but if you want to be more than 2 and 1/2 Stars then you should be going above and beyond for your customers. I've had this bank for exactly 9 years now and I've never had issues with getting a replacement card up until now.

When I opened a checking account a decade ago with the bank bought out by S&T, I briefly used Online Bill Pay and then stopped. Unknown to me, S&T charges a monthly fee for NOT using Online Bill Pay. My husband and I were both separately charged over $30 in monthly fees by the time I realized. We both had to call separately to cancel Bill Pay, and they agreed to refund just $3. The following month we were charged the fee again and told we had to call to cancel Bill Pay AGAIN.
I decided to close my account and received my check in the mail with the remaining funds. The check they sent me overdrew the account by $.01. That same day, I received two overdraft notices recommending I be more financially responsible and saying I had to re-deposit the $.01 or get charged a $36 overdraft fee. Amazingly, also the same day, I received the debit card that had never been sent when S&T bought out my old bank. I don't know what's going on with this place, but I feel nothing but relief after closing this account.
